About The 10-Day Tour from Tangier to Marrakech
This tour takes you through some of Morocco’s most well-known cities and landscapes. Starting from Tangier, you will visit Chefchaouen, where you’ll have time to explore the blue-painted streets and local markets before spending the night in a traditional riad.
The next day, the tour continues to the Roman ruins and then to Meknes, a historic city with interesting landmarks. Afterward, you will head to Fez, where you’ll spend a full day discovering its old medina, mosques, and other important sites.
As the journey progresses, you’ll travel through the Middle Atlas, stopping in small towns like Ifrane and Azrou before reaching the Ziz Valley and Merzouga, where you can experience a camel ride. The tour also includes visits to the Dades Valley, Ouarzazate, and Marrakech, where you can explore the city's main attractions.
The tour ends with a transfer to the airport, ensuring you complete your trip smoothly.

This private tour includes airport pick-up and drop-off, a private vehicle with all fuel costs covered, and an English-speaking guide/driver. You'll stay in comfortable hotel or riad accommodations, with all meals: breakfasts, lunches, and dinners; provided by the tour accommodations. Entry fees to all museums included in the itinerary are also covered. However, tips for hotel, riad, camp attendants, and the driver or host are not included in the tour price.

The Tour Plan Day By Day
Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen
Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation or the port in Tangier, and you’ll head to Chefchaouen, which is about a two-and-a-half-hour drive. Once you arrive, you can spend the day walking around the blue streets and exploring the local souks. In the evening, you’ll settle into a traditional Moroccan riad for the night.
Day 2: Chefchaouen - Meknes - Fez
The day starts at 8:00 AM with a drive to the Roman ruins, where you’ll take a guided tour of the site. Afterward, you’ll continue to Meknes, a historic city known for its medina and old landmarks. After lunch, you’ll head to Fez, where you’ll spend the night in a riad.
Day 3: Fez
This day is dedicated to exploring Fez. You’ll visit the famous medina, historical sites like the Bou Inania Medersa, and the Kairaouine Mosque. In the afternoon, you’ll explore the newer parts of the city and visit the Museum of Moroccan Arts before returning to your riad for the night.
Day 4: Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Ziz Valley
You’ll leave Fez in the morning and pass through Ifrane and Azrou, where you might spot Barbary apes in the cedar forests. After a stop for lunch in Midelt, the drive continues through the scenic Ziz Valley, where you’ll spend the night in a local hotel.
Day 5: Ziz Valley - Erfoud - Rissani - Merzouga
The day begins with a walk through the Ziz Valley before heading to Erfoud, a town known for its fossils. After visiting local factories and the market in Rissani, you’ll continue to Merzouga for a camel ride into the desert dunes.
Day 6: Merzouga - Dades
You’ll start the day with a chance to see the sunrise over the dunes before heading to the Toudgha Gorges for lunch. After exploring the area, the journey continues to the Dades Valley, where you’ll stay for the night.
Day 7: Dades - Ouarzazate
After breakfast, you’ll visit the Dades gorges and meet Berber nomads along the way. The day continues through the Valley of the Roses, where you’ll stop at Kasbah Amredil before arriving in Ouarzazate for the night.
Day 8: Ouarzazate - Marrakech
In the morning, you’ll visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, before continuing to Marrakech. Along the way, you’ll pass through Telouet and the Tizi n’Tichka pass.
Day 9: Marrakech Sightseeing
This day is all about exploring Marrakech, including the lively Djemma El Fna square, the Majorelle Gardens, and other landmarks like the Koutoubia Mosque and El Bahia Palace. You’ll spend another night in the city.
Day 10: Transfer to the Airport
On the final day, you’ll be transferred to the airport, ending your tour.
