This 10-day Sahara Morocco tour offers an immersive journey through Morocco’s most remarkable cities, landscapes, and cultural landmarks. It begins with a warm welcome in Marrakech, where you'll be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel. On the second day, a local guide will take you through the heart of Marrakech, introducing you to iconic sites such as the Koutoubia Tower, the Bahia Palace, and the vibrant Jemma El Fna Square, along with serene gardens and cultural treasures that reflect Morocco's rich history.


Leaving Marrakech, the journey heads south toward the desert. The third day takes you through the scenic High Atlas Mountains, passing through the famous Ait Ben Haddou village and Ouarzazate before reaching Zagora, where a camel ride brings you to a traditional nomadic camp for an overnight stay under the stars. The adventure continues on day four with a 190-kilometer off-road drive, exploring desert landscapes, meeting nomadic families, and spending the night in the peaceful oasis of Ramlia.


The itinerary proceeds deeper into the Sahara, taking you to Merzouga, where you’ll experience the beauty of the Erg Chebbi dunes and traditional Berber culture. After an early morning sunrise view, the tour heads north through ancient towns and lush valleys, stopping at historic villages and places like Midelt, Meknes, and Volubilis, where you’ll witness Morocco’s blend of ancient and colonial influences.


The journey concludes with visits to Morocco’s capital, Rabat, and the bustling metropolis of Casablanca, where you'll see landmarks like the Hassan II Mosque.   • Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech The tour begins with your arrival at Marrakech airport, where you’ll meet your driver and be taken to your hotel to settle in. This first day is focused on rest and preparation for the journey ahead. You’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night at the hotel, ready to explore Morocco.

  • Day 2: Exploring Marrakech Your day in Marrakech starts with a guided tour of the city’s highlights. You’ll visit the Koutoubia Tower, a symbol of Almohad architecture, and the Museum of Marrakech, which showcases local pottery, jewelry, and ceramics. The tour also includes the Bahia Palace with its beautiful gardens, the Saadian Tombs, and the bustling Jemma El Fna Square. Afterward, you’ll see the Menara Gardens, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, and the Majorelle Garden. Dinner and overnight are at the hotel.

  • Day 3: Marrakech to Zagora via Ouarzazate The journey leaves Marrakech early in the morning, crossing the High Atlas Mountains to the village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and popular filming location. After visiting Ouarzazate’s cinema studios, you’ll continue through the Draa Valley to reach Zagora, where you’ll experience a camel ride and spend the night in a nomadic tent under the desert stars.

  • Day 4: Desert Expedition to Ramlia On day four, you’ll take an off-road path that follows part of the old Paris-Dakar Rally route, covering 190 kilometers of sandy dunes, dry lakes, and open plains. You’ll visit a nomadic family for tea and have a picnic lunch near Tafraoute before heading to the secluded oasis of Ramlia, where you’ll stay overnight at a hotel.

  • Day 5: Ramlia to Merzouga via Ouzina After breakfast, explore Ramlia's oasis and learn about the ancient irrigation systems. The trip continues through the desert to Merzouga, passing through Ouzina village, where you’ll have the chance to meet locals and visit a children’s literacy project. In Khamlia, enjoy traditional African music and Berber pizza before a camel ride to a Berber camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you’ll spend the night.

  • Day 6: Merzouga to Midelt via Rissani and Erfoud Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then travel to Midelt, passing through Rissani, known for its historic market, and Erfoud, a town famous for fossils. The route takes you through the scenic Ziz Valley and the apple-growing region of Midelt. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the abandoned French-built village of Ahouli before returning to Midelt for the night.

  • Day 7: Midelt to Meknes via Ifrane After breakfast, continue north to Meknes, stopping in Ifrane, often called the "Switzerland of Morocco" due to its alpine feel and nearby cedar forests. In Meknes, you’ll visit Bab El Mansour gate, Moulay Ismail’s mausoleum, and the Sahrij Swani basin, spending the night in a charming riad.

  • Day 8: Meknes to Chefchaouen via Volubilis Traveling to Chefchaouen, you’ll stop at Volubilis, Morocco’s best-preserved Roman ruins, where a guide will show you around. You’ll then drive through the Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, where you’ll have time to explore the blue-washed streets, the old kasbah, and Outa el Hammam Square. Dinner and an overnight stay are at a riad.

  • Day 9: Chefchaouen to Casablanca via Rabat Departing Chefchaouen, the route heads to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, where you’ll visit landmarks like Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah Oudayas Gardens. Continuing to Casablanca, you’ll tour the impressive Hassan II Mosque before checking in at your hotel.

  • Day 10: Departure from Casablanca On the final day, you’ll be transferred from your hotel to Casablanca’s Mohammed V Airport, marking the end of your 10-day Sahara Morocco tour.
