You’ll visit the Hassan II Mosque and enjoy lunch by the Atlantic, followed by a transfer to Marrakech for a full day of exploring historical sites like the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and the Medina.


Moving on, the tour travels through the High Atlas Mountains, with stops at Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate, known for its kasbahs and film studios. Continuing along the Draa Valley, you’ll reach M’hamid El Ghazlane, where you'll explore local craftsmanship in the village of Tamegroute and see traditional kasbahs before heading into the desert.


The tour includes a camel trek into Erg Chigaga, where you'll stay at a desert camp and get a closer look at nomadic life. Afterward, you’ll return via the desert trails to Foum Zguid and make your way back to Marrakech, with stops for photos and local visits. The tour ends in Casablanca.

Tour Plan Day by Day

This 8-day desert camel trekking tour follows a carefully planned itinerary that covers Morocco’s most captivating destinations. However, the agency is flexible and welcomes your suggestions to make adjustments along the way. If you have particular sites in mind or want a bit more time to explore a favorite location, they’re open to customizing parts of the tour to better fit your interests and ensure a memorable experience. Here's the initial plan day by day:

  • Day 1: You’ll be picked up at Casablanca Airport and start the tour by visiting the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. Lunch will be along the Atlantic Ocean or at Rick’s Cafe, a spot inspired by the movie Casablanca. Later, you’ll head to Marrakech for an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast.

  • Day 2: This day is a full tour of Marrakech’s highlights with a private guide. You’ll visit sites like the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, the historic Saadian Tombs, and Majorelle Garden. Lunch will be in the Medina or at the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Overnight in Marrakech with dinner and breakfast included.

  • Day 3: After breakfast, you’ll travel through the High Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate, stopping at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed kasbah. Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” will be your stop for the night, with dinner and breakfast provided.

  • Day 4: You’ll continue through the Draa Valley towards M’hamid El Ghazlane, passing palm groves and traditional kasbahs. There will be stops at villages along the way, including Zagora, known for its desert crafts. Overnight in a desert camp in M’hamid, with dinner and breakfast included.

  • Day 5: This day includes a camel trek into the Sahara Desert, lasting around 5 hours. Lunch will be served during the trek, and you’ll visit nomadic tents. Afterward, you’ll arrive at the Erg Chigaga desert camp to watch the sunset and spend the night. Meals will be provided.

  • Day 6: You can watch the sunrise over the dunes in the morning, then enjoy breakfast. The trip continues with a drive over desert trails to Foum Zguid. You’ll stay in a hotel here with meals included.

  • Day 7: After breakfast, the journey back to Marrakech begins, passing through Tazenakht, a village known for Berber carpets. You’ll reach Marrakech in the evening for an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast.

  • Day 8: This final day includes a transfer to either Casablanca or Marrakech Airport, marking the end of the tour.


Inclusions & Exclusions

This private tour includes all accommodations with breakfast and dinner, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout. You'll be accompanied by a professional Moroccan driver who speaks multiple languages, making it easy to communicate and get insights along the way. The tour also includes both arrival and departure airport transfers, so your travel is convenient from start to finish.


Travel is arranged in a private, air-conditioned Toyota vehicle for a comfortable experience, and camel trekking is included at Erg Chegaga with your own private caravan and camel guide. Additionally, a private tour guide with expert knowledge will be available to enrich your journey. The tour includes two lunches and a picnic in the desert, allowing you to enjoy some meals while exploring Morocco's unique landscapes.


However, this tour does not cover five of the lunches during your trip, so those will be at your own expense. Soft drinks, tips, and personal expenses are also excluded, as well as the plane ticket to and from Morocco.
